Warm hospitality, luxurious decor, cozy sheets, & a sparkling amber fire. Historic photographs on every wall, telling a long forgotten story. I have spent four nights here, and as I sit in my pure, snow white, silken sheets, admiring the room before me, I know in my heart, I will truly miss this enchanting palace. I've just kicked off my little slippers, nestled in bed, after a wonderful champagne bathtub experience, fine chocolates and a good cup of tea.  For a time to unwind, relax, and free yourself from the world is a priceless gift. Thank you for the lovely experience.

If you are anywhere close to this area I would highly recommend staying in this hotel, it's an experience! The historic rooms are beautiful and the whole place feels like traveling back in time, it could be a museum. Everything is still in very good shape and the hospitality is unmatched. The hotel is right in Weaverville's historic downtown so there are lots of food options and shops around.

I have stayed here multiple times while in the area for work. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and their genuine hospitality is expressed down to the details. The hotel has historic charm without it feeling cluttered and the rooms are exceptionally clean. I would recommend any of my friends/coworkers stay here for work or pleasure and look forward to the next time I return.

We have made staying here our anniversary tradition. For the last 9 years. Everything about this place is an experience, to really get a deep an fuller appreciation for the 1800's leave your phone and tablet off, read a book (plenty to choose from). Watch the fireplace and snuggle, and talk with the one you love.

So much love for this historic gem in historic Weaverville! It's recently gone through a refresh that combines its historic charm with modern upgrades/touches like air conditioning, blazing fast wifi and soaking tubs. Love the cute little shops right next door as well and is the perfect base to explore the trinity alps.

We were in a pinch because the original Airbnb we booked had issues causing us to need something elsewhere on a very busy holiday weekend and they accommodated us without any issues, even letting us check in a little early so we could get ready for a family event. It was clean and adorable. I would absolutely stay here again.

What a delightful experience we had with our stay at the Weaverville Hotel & Emporium. We've had the chance to stay at other Victorian era hotels and by far, the care for guests, the building, and the grounds shown brightly in all details. To add to the details in earlier reviews, the outdoor sitting area on the west side of the hotel is nicely and comfortably appointed.

A comfortable step back in time We've stayed a couple of times. A comfy, old-fashioned room with a fourposter bed, a clawfoot tub and NO TV (an advantage as far as we're concerned). A friendly greeting even though we arrived late. Good advice for a dinner, too.

An absolute delight. Harley Tour Riding on a Harley from Seattle down the coastline, Washington, Oregon to California and staying in this fantastic hotel was an absolute delight. Our room was perfect, I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend.

A Gem My husband and I stayed at the Weaverville Hotel in Oct 2012. The experience was beyond our expectations. We were concerned about road noise so we reserved the room in the back, farthest from the road, but when we arrived the owner graciously showed us all the available rooms and we selected the Honeymoon suite ("Bully Chop"), a large, bright room overlooking the town bandstand located one room back from the main highway. We did not notice the road noise at all. All the rooms are large (two of the "old" hotel rooms were combined to make each of the new rooms), upgraded with new electrical and plumbing and lovingly decorated. The room has a queen bed, a gas burning fireplace, seating facing the fireplace and additional seating, and various other antiques. There is champagne bubble tub (did not try it) in a separate alcove, a small bath with a shower. Overall the room was charming.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful What a gem!! Great price. Great location. Friendly helpful and genuine staff. My husband and I loved this hotel and would warmly recommend it to anyone. We spent 3 weeks traveling in California and this was by far the best place we stayed in.
We had a fabulous room with CD player and great selection of discs to play on it. The bed was gorgeous and there was an amazing bath and separate shower.
Downstairs there was an atmospheric, cosy communal room with board games, books, musical instruments and Victorian curiosities to intrigue and interest.
We could not have asked for more and were sorry to leave. Our stay in Weaverville really added to our holiday in the beautiful state of California and left us with wonderful memories and a warm glow!!

Best Choice in Weaverville The process of making and changing my reservation date for a work trip last week was very easy.  The room was nice and exceptionally clean. Though I was there only one night for work, I would recommend the hotel.  A very accommodating owner, a wonderful four poster bed, and a clawfoot bathtub were the highlights of my stay.

Weaverville Hospitality at Its Best What a delightful experience we had with our stay at the Weaverville Hotel & Emporium. To add to the details in earlier reviews, the outdoor sitting area on the west side of the hotel is nicely and comfortably appointed. Trinity River Brewing Company is within easy walking distance. For those interested in a personal and comfortable stay in a Victorian era hotel where using stairs is necessary, this is a wonderful place to stay.

Charming and comfortable I stay here at least one night a month on business, and I have been doing that since mid 2015. It is the only hotel I will book in Weaverville. It's charming, comfortable, on Main St. near all the shops and restaurants, and the attention to original detail is an added bonus. The hotel was built long long ago, and you can experience the history while inside. I always choose either rooms 2,3,4 or 1, depending on what my needs are for the particular visit. Clawfoot bathtubs with jets? This hotel has them. Gas fireplaces in the rooms? Great for chilly Fall and Winter nights. I highly recommend!
